Pigeon Peas Seed

Through the use of farmer leaders NASFAM multiplies seed materials in collaboration with the Seed Inspection Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The organisation resources basic seed from seed companies and research stations like ICRISAT and the seed is multiplied under the Seed Inspection Unit’s supervision, Seed Traders Association of Malawi (STAM),  Malawi Seed Association (MASA) as collaborating partners. The available seed NASFAM multiplies is Pigeon Peas seed (Mwaiwathu alimi), Groundnut seed (CG7 and Chalimbana 2000 or Nsinjiro) and Serenade soya.
